So basically for what they call "nationals", it's the biggest game around the whole country for high school students and there are two times a year. This is the first time, what Karasuno is doing is the preliminary, they have to beat up all the teams from Miyaki（their area）to grab the ticket of entering nationals. As Nekoma has to the same, beat up all the teams from tokyo to get into nationals.
