Megumi (blue haired chick) is 15 now. She was 13 in middle school when she started/ entered the school. Now she’s in the high school department. Souma is 15. Erina is older than souma by months so she’s 16 halfway into season 1.

Pretty sure that is her grandfather though I could be wrong but they have the same last name Nakiri Erina and he's Nakiri Senzaemon and I actually really like Erina her design with the little hair horns is a hit with me wish she'd stop being such a hater tho

Soma always does these weird combinations (ie squid and peanut butter etc.) because of his belief of Trial and Error. Just like with the honey, he was able to figure out its properties because of him experimenting with it. He's not talented by any means, just someone very hard working who's willing to try every means possible to achieve the best outcome. Most of these outcomes are terrible, but there will always be one combination that works, and that's what he's aiming for. That's why he's not afraid to lose.
