Our project Why Always Wins just soft-launched! I'm posting it here about 2 hours before we start spreading it around for reals, just so our most special audiences (you guys) (aww) have first dibs on early-bird tiers.

Just a head's up about a little project I worked on ~5 years ago, and which now has a KS... It's an educational comic book for the workplace~ Yes, edu comics are for adults too. In particular, this book is about leading teams, especially when your teams are made up of people who don't share your personal vision, your best practices, or tend to communicate in ways you're not like, a complete fan of. If you've worked in an office I'm sure you can relate, haha.

Anyways, this was an interesting project to work on. I had just quit my dayjob to start my own business and freelance full-time, and this book paid my rent for the first few months of that journey. Lots of sleepless nights. I just did art on this project with some minor copy editing (no real writing)... it also represents the last time I did WFH art, since right after I finished as much of this project that I was able without eating into my professional goals, I decided to focus on creating my original works.

Anyhoo, if you're a person who works in an office, leads teams, or just likes collecting stuff I do, Why Always Wins could be an interesting project to check out~

It certainly seems like the people who just got put in charge of my team at the office could use this. Saying that probably wouldn't go over well, though - any advice on subliminal messaging? Corporate work is so much fun that I could just die.

I wish I could send it to people at my office (particularly leadership), but I'm just going to read it myself and try to manage up. ;)
