- Wikipedia pages for the Imperial Regalia of Japan (aka the Three Sacred Treasures/三種の神器), and the sword Kusanagi no Tsurugi (草薙の剣, aka Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi/天叢雲剣).
- Additional articles about the regalia and Kusanagi, from CNN (for the recent enthronement of the Reiwa Emperor), and Ancient-Origins.net.
- Pages for Susanoo-no-Mikoto, Susano's relationship with his sister, Amaterasu, and the mythical serpent Orochi.
- Wikipedia pages for the probably-mythical Emperor Jimmu (神武天皇) and hero Yamato Takeru. The only source I found that gave a reason for Yamato Takeru killing his brother is this page by author Rod Lucas, whose website catalogues shrines, kami, and other information about shinto.
