Behind the Scenes: New Work Process, Wish List Items, Milestones (Patreon)

We've been a bit quiet this month - sorry! After the promotion and the 1st Pod-versary Party, we were pretty exhausted, then spent a weekend out of town with friends, then had family visiting, so it's been hard to muster energy for anything that doesn't directly lead to a podcast episode at the end of the week.

BUT! We have made a couple of changes. First, a change to our work process - I (Nina) am now doing to first round of edits on the recording of the intro, recap, research pieces, next time ons, and wrong Gundam opinions. This frees up about 4 hours of Thom's time, and usually means we can finish an episode a bit earlier than we'd be able to otherwise.

Second, we still have an Amazon wishlist of items for the podcast, you can access it here. The list is a little thin at the moment - some lovely people bought us many of the books we wanted, but we are sure to come up with more as this season of the podcast continues.

And finally, we hit a couple of big milestones in the past week or so. We now have over 250 patrons and our episodes have over 100,000 listens! Thank you all so much - milestones like these are pretty arbitrary, but it helps us stay motivated to see that the podcast is growing all the time.
