I never want to look at another complex lighting piece again. Hot damn my hands.

On the one hand, I'm quite pleased with how it looks. This design is delightful and gave me big Skesis vibes while drawing it.

On the other, I think I've hit a plateau with my current shading/lighting style in terms of what it can manage and what I want to do. Which means fiddling around and learning a new technique.

A bit of a ramble here, but I find art is a series of being happy with how things look, and then suddenly everything you do looks awful, and that is your motivation to try new things and struggle to hit the next plateau of "my style currently works and I like how things look"
