Ostia Lore - Dramatis Personae (Patreon)

Wanted to have at least a face to all the big names for Ostia's lore. This project ended up being a bit more involved than I expected but oh well! I really wanted to make something I'd be excited about interacting with for a while yet, so I hope the fanfare and effort is worth it.

I'll just be updating this post with the finished piece and full lore pieces in the coming days.

Here's a progress post as I work my way through. I'll give ya'll the brief summary of characters that I have fleshed out:

Top row (Ostia + those who feel positive towards her):

Ostia: Goes without saying? Knight Scion, Noble, struggles with the anger she still holds over her sister's death. Influenced heavily by the people around her, as well as her Knight's machine spirit (WARDEN, High Flame Guard VI of Haldia) is full of anger and highly volatile.

Praetor Marcus Crael: In charge of Armor for the assault of Victrus Seven. Technically answers to the Guard command, but in reality, only obligated to follow off-battlefield orders of The Fabricator as they summoned the Knights to the field. Mutual respect is shared between him and Ostia, but in previous engagements, he was frightened by her unwavering ferocity.

Sgt. R'tan Esatar: The Salamanders Adeptus who often ends up on engagements with Ostia. Full of jokes and rather lighthearted for an Astartes. Takes a shine to the grim Ostia after she saves his life.

Middle row (neutral Parties/feeling shift often):

Fabricator Vaulk-02: Mechanicus leader overseeing the reclamation of the planet for their use. Cold and impersonal, does not care about anything other than the infrastructure.

Selette Von Farix: Lance lead and self-proclaimed rival to Ostia. Does not have as much combat experience, but has bad family blood between the two houses. Willing to undermine Ostia's reputation in any way, though not nearly as combat-capable.

Bottom Row (Generally adversarial/hostile):

Reina Chareg:  Imperial Guard High Command for the assault. Adversarial to all the armor, sees their presence along with the Astartes as a show of nonconfidence in her men.

Sir Gallius Radthorne: House Haldus regent in charge during Ostias prolonged absence. Hostile to her near-complete absence in political matters, along with general distrust over events in her past.

Gitstank the Krushinin': Morkanaut pilot, often pops up in the fighting. Reoccuring rival and enemy
