00:00:00 - Intro

00:00:41 - Did ships with smaller guns have to go to port in order to replace their guns?

00:05:19 - How did the Kriegsmarine react to rising U-Boat losses?

00:09:57 - What was the thinking behind Billy Mitchells bombings of USS  Alabama, Virginia and New Jersey with White Phosphorus and Tear Gas and  what was the reactions at the time?

00:15:46 - Was there any reasonable way for the Kriegsmarine to retain  their shipbuilding knowledge after WW1, and why didn't they ask the  Italians or the Japanese for assistance?

00:21:16 - How did the Navy put together the crews for all the new ships  in WW2? There could not have been that many trained navigators and  other specialists just sitting around in 1943.

00:25:32 - WW2 modern Japanese light cruisers and their role (or lack of it)?

00:32:13 - Could you keep a factory running just making spares?

00:38:26 - What kind of damage could a superfiring gun on destroyer have done to the lower one that necessitated the overhang?

00:41:12 - In the film Master and Commander, Jack is shown to take a  large and active role in the midshipmen's education and development.  Would the captain of a Royal Navy warship typically take such a role in  the training of midshipmen?

00:43:54 - What's the definition of a casement / turret / barbette style gun layouts?

00:48:39 - Given that George Lucas was a student of History and a fan of  the accounts of WW2 combat, what do you think his inspiration was for  the Millenium Falcon?

00:52:04 - What was Prinz Eugen doing during the Battle of the Denmark  Straight, and when it was over how did she manage to evade the prowling  British cruisers and destroyers on her way back to Germany?

00:55:32 - Given Canada's large naval expansion in World War II, with a  particular focus on convoy escort, why was an effort not made to produce  or procure escort carriers for this role, instead the focus being on  smaller surface combatants, only obtaining a couple light carriers at  the end of the war?

00:58:37 - Commission to operational dates for KGV's?

The question of casements at 43min seems to be missing visual examples besides the first ship?

Where do you get more trained officers? Another source for the USN was the Naval ROTC program. As usual, Nimitz was involved with this and everything that led to USN success in WW2. Nimitz introduced the NROTC program at the Univercity of California Berkeley. Millenium Falcon also includes features of a WW2 heavy bomber -- those "antiaircraft" positions.
