00:00:00 - Intro 00:00:43 - Given the typically ferocious attrition pre-war and early war escorts typically suffered, what circumstances saved the Bathurst class from such losses? 00:03:20 - 12-inch gun limit in London Naval Treaty? 00:07:18 - Could ship weaponry overheat in a manner similar to machine guns? If so what effects could it have, and did it vary based on caliber? 00:11:45 - Have you ever been to the Australian War Memorial in Canberra and would you be interested in having a look? 00:13:10 - Why didn't the Japanese try to cheat the London Naval Treaty terms that closed off the loophole that allowed Ryujo to be built by making Merchant Aircraft Carriers? 00:17:47 - What could the US have done to prevent the naval invasion of the Philippines, and how could the locals have helped? (You can tell I'm filipino) 00:24:28 - What would the Lion class have done in RN service? 00:32:20 - What is your opinion on the carrier Aquila? Regarding the passenger liner/aircraft carrier hybrid: I would pay money to see the jetsetter class subjected to the arrester wire yank from a COD flight.

Personally, I think it's awesome to have Drach as a special voice guest on my new channel. What an honor!

Im truly spoilt now -Im disappointed when a drydock is only 1 hour Long rather than 5/6. What shall I do all weekend, now??

Right? We should have a weekly storytime with Drach where he reads aloud from whatever naval history related book he is reading at the time.

Can we just have a weekly "Drach After Dark" podcast of whatever's been on his mind / in the works over the previous 7 days, including extracurricular things like the miniatures, the pets, the flags, etc...

Some bunker oil could be nastier than others. "The Battle of Surigao Strait" by Tulley noted a few times that the fuel oil loaded at Borneo's wide Brunei Bay was more gross than other oil for those who had to swim in it from their stricken vessel.

I recall reading years ago that late in WWII Japanese ships based in the East Indies were sometimes burning unrefined crude oil as bunker fuel due to lack of refinery capacity. They had a couple of cruisers suffer explosions due to the volatile components of the crude oil getting loose in the ships.
