00:00:43 - In terms of technology who was superior? The IJN or Kriegsmarine? 00:06:25 - Could the British or French built purpose built landing craft or at least modified cargo and troop ships for the Gallipoli Landings instead of using row boats to offload troops? Small mistake there in the fact the British actually did have purpose built landing craft at Gallipoli for the latter stages of the amphibious operation. They were called "X Lighters" (and nicknamed "Black Beetles") and they were used, quite successfully, during the Suvla Bay landings. Here's more information: http://www.xlighter.org/ and https://weaponsandwarfare.com/2018/12/01/x-lighters/

2023-02-08 18:13:33 Q & A: I’m not sure if this has been covered yet, but in a nut shell, what exactly are double and triple expansion engines? What were the pros and cons of both systems? Also, what exactly is bad coal, what were the effects of bad coal on the boilers, and how often did ships receive it then dump it out? ( just thinking back to the Kamchatka). Sorry for asking so many questions at once.
