Tis a beautiful thing. Drach went out on the limb professionally to take on this little thing called Naval History thru 1950. Not only did he find success, he found a boatload of friends, other historians, a plethora of questions and a few tongue twisters along the way. As a reward for the faith he and his family put in the Channel, a Stork was commissioned, and 9 months later a baby delivered. You could not have written a better storyline. And for us, an unequaled resource for our never ending list of questions. And of course a friend with an unquenchable thirst for all things Navy. Yes 300 is a millestone, but I am thinking the best is on the horizon. Thank you for putting faith in your family, yourself and in us. Good luck good sir, see you at DD:500 and beyoond. Doug PS, Thank you to the common cold (it goes by other names), or just maybe the channel would not have come to us when it did, or at all.

Happy 300th! I’m assuming my admittedly long winded question from last month was going to be pushed into the livestream because it is alternate history as per the rules but honestly I remember what it’s like to be a new father. I for one am okay with you skipping my question and indeed the whole livestream if it means you get some much needed rest. You are doing fine, hang in there, and keep up the good work.
