it's time to talk about Arenus!
Tech Demo Results
First of all we want to thank you all for taking part in the tech demo.
One major goal of the tech demo was to test Performance, so we're happy to announce that 94,2% of you had a smooth experience. Of course we'll keep working for the other 5,8%.
Overall feedback has been super positive! Of course this was only a very small glimpse of Arenus but it represents the quality you can expect and we're proud of that.
Also you folks had some pretty great ideas to improve the game. We're already working on some ideas. The most requested feature are tooltips for states and effects, we guarantee that they will be in the final game.
Overall we can say that the tech demo was a success and confirms that we're on the right track with Arenus.
The Road Ahead
As some of you probably noticed on Steam, we've delayed the game to 2019.
I'll be completely honest with you guys.
I overestimated myself, the initial release date of 2018 was crazy.
Producing a game of this size and quality requires time, sweat and blood.
Arenus was announced two years ago and has been in active Development for 1,5 years.
Asset production is completed and now it's all about converting files into content.
But I also would like to mention: I personally prefer a Development time of 2 to 2,5 years over a publisher/investor. Of course there are also great publishers, but the selection is rather limited in the NSFW section.
We want to stay true to our vision and our community.
We want to release a fair product without micro-transactions and such.
