ive heard Lycan moan that the animation is bad for back clover but its the same studio that did Naruto go back and watch any random Naruto ep and its just like black clover. shit animation all the way though the ep but good animation for fights. ps im not haveing a go just wanted to say my peace. keep up the great work brothers love from the U.K

Anime balls deep has a video describing all the past wizard kings backstories that weren’t put in the movie. Princia was at war with the diamond kingdom & they took her family hostage. The royals kept that secret from her so she would finish the war. When she found out she went in her Villain arc. They sealed her & her magic away & she eventually escaped to stop another attack giving her life up in the process. They all have similar stories of the royals of the clover kingdom betraying them which turned them to villains.
