I remember seeing this and sanji's fight in the manga and being hype about the power ups zoro and sanji got but being underwhelmed by the fights. The anime is making these fights AMAZING

Yea but it’s weird because he was making contact to king and king was able to block it with his sword without even coating it with haki. Kinda inconsistent to me that king’s sword didnt even break. Like zoro should’ve been capable of cutting through that blade.

The way I see it, Sanji is a vehicle for telling humanizing stories. He's the robot soldier with a heart. Zoro though, his entire THING is being that anime swordsman. When it comes to raw fights, he's always gonna that dude.

Sanji = better character. Zoro = hype/better moments
