Hype, can't wait to watch later today! Are you guys planning on watching the OVAs and season 2 after this? Edit: Though you could watch OVA 2 later, the best watch order is: Season 1, OVA 1 (Memory Snow), OVA 2 (Frozen Bond), Season 2. In Crunchyroll OVA 1 is the in the director's cut section as the episode after episode 6 while OVA 2 is listed in it's own section.

Petelgeuse was actually already dying from the subaru threw oil on him, and the spirit Ia was burning him. The whole punch, and subaru writing "goodbye" in his gospel as a taunt, were just dramatic effect. The wheel from the carraige didn't kill him lol Also season 2 has alot of episodes that are 30 minutes in length with no opening song or ending song or recap, its just straight 30 min run time with no wasted mins which is dope, you can watch 2 eps in per sitting as it's a better experience. Lastly there's the frozen bonds movie which we recommend watching at anytime before season 2 ep 14.

So now that season 1's over, may as well list some important details that the anime cut. The anime has yet to go back and touch on any of this, so I feel like it's fine to list here. 1) Al (Priscilla's one armed-knight with the helmet) is also from Japan. He notices Subaru's modern slang and is like "oh, you were summoned here too, huh?" 2) In that same scene, we learn the Re: Zero world is flat, bordered by waterfalls that lead into nothingness 3) Felt is pointed out to share physical traits with the now missing royal family, having blond hair and red-eyes. 4) Al seems to know who Ram is. When he learns that Ram has a sister, his mood sours. 5) Rem is kinda crazy. She gets up an hour earlier and goes to sleep an hour later so she can sneak into Subaru's room and stare at him while he sleeps. She also steals his clothes to sniff. In a filler chapter, she tries drugging him. 6) Felix, while healing Subaru's gate, tries to use magic to enter his mind and make him switch to the Crusch camp. Rem notices this and tries to counter this by pouring her mana into Subaru. When pointed out that having too many different manas in Subaru's body would kill him, Rem says she'd rather kill him than give him to Crusch. 7) There was an entire extra loop skipped over with the battle against the witch cult. Too long to detail, and it was kinda merged with the last one, so it's whatever. 8) Before Subaru wakes up on Emilia's lap, he hears a voice telling him “Remember who you are. Remember what you have to do."

As someone with a very strict anti-spoiler policy, I actually think this is probably necessary. Assuming that it is going to be brought up again later, then it's even more important to know now, cause it would be picking up on something you were supposed to already know by that point. Otherwise you're entering a part of the story that expects you to already know this stuff without having actually shown you it yet. It would be like taking a test on material that your teacher didn't tell you to study for. If the anime does come around and make equivalent scenes for this stuff, which I very much doubt considering how much is usually cut, I'll take the L and shut up.
