The way I took Chifuyu's statement of seeing Tacamichi was what he said in the last episode. That you can see a difference in his eyes. So I think Chifuyu was able to tell it was the one from the future and not the one who take over him when he returns to the furture. I maybe wrong. Just how I took it.

Really hope yall start watching slam dunk after hajime no ippo for sports anime. Slam dunk is literally basketball mixed with gang fights like tokyo revengers. Plus the comedy is gold. Animation is a bit outdated but shouldnt be a problem since amenz is also watching yuyu hakusho right now.
