The viewing of the city was pretty cool. If you carefully inspect you can see a mashup of desingn elements inspired by Washington DC/Egypt, India, Venice, Milan, and Alsace–Lorraine.

Not so fun fact about the two girls with Paul. Their names are Vierra and Shierra. They were teleportation victims and were enslaved and raped as a result. Paul rescued them both. The girl In the bikini armor wears it to keep men's eyes on her and off of her mage sister who was badly traumatized during enslavement to the point where she freaks out if a male looks at her. By the way, Paul has been celibate since the mana disaster. And vows to not have sex till his wives have been found

Unfortunately they've left out a few details here and there and it ends up painting certain pictures for characters. Like Rudy perving on Eris all the time but in the LN, Eris is just as bad as Rudy. Peeking at him bathing, smelling his dirty underwear while she does laundry, etc

Woah. This would've been mildy transformative of her character if left in the anime. Thanks for the information again. I know directors have a time table to follow and budget constraints but this shouldn't have been cut. This would've added new perspective to the argument surrounding Rudy's character.

While I do not agree with how Paul handled the conversation we should be able to see why he expected more from Rudy. He has always been mature for his age, though Paul doesnt know the reason why like we do he still sees that he is wayyyy more mature and smart than a normal child so he thought Rudy should have been able to think about the situation more seriously. Also that fact that Paul says many people went missing or died and the first person Rudy thinks about is not his mother or other sister is trash.

@Storm King I mean Rudy couldn't have known It wasn't something he said to intentionally to priotize sylphie over zenith i don't think that his is fault because paul just stayed angry instead of explaining what the deal was. As much as paul situation is understandable he is still more sickingly wrong then rudy. Mature and smart and talented isn't a reason to rely on your son to find your own kids and the mom you are the dad in fact if i was a dad I would not want my son to go anywhere to be caught up in anything I rather have him stay while I go myself as the parent.. If my son is safe then let him stay safe talent and smart and power doesn't mean you can't die and if somebody has to take the risk i would have it rather be me. Paul is pushing his own failure on to rudy he knows he was near them when they transported he knows that in fact he lost them, not rudy. Paul is showing his insecurity.

I agree Rudy didn't intentionally to priotize sylphie over zenith, however subconcioully he did. I also agree he couldn't have known because he is bad at picking up on social queues. I think almost anyone one of us in that situation before the argument started would be able to look at Paul and see that the man is near a breaking point mentally and physically. With being able to pick up on that, anyone should be able to conclude that something is causing your father great pain. Also Im pretty sure I would have asked "hows mom or my sisters?" as soon as I saw my father. (((( I again agree Paul did put a lot of his failure on Rudy and he is definitely more in the wrong. For this last part all I am doing is pointing out the mindset of why its not too unthinkable why Paul would have better expectations from Rudy even though the failure is on himself)))) In a normal world like ours, yes I wouldn't want my son doing anthing that could be dangerous, however their situation is a bit more complicated. He knows Rudy must have been teleported too in which its not logical to think Rudy would just stay put somewhere and wait to be rescued. Paul litterally doesnt have a choice in hoping that Rudy would be able to take care of himself somehow so Paul can prioritize finding the family members that dont or cant fight. In their world age almost means nothing because Paul also left home at a young age and became a great warrior that knows a bit about the dangers of their world from his time adventuring. As a father I am sure a part of him was worried for his son (which is why he cried when he first saw him), but as a warrior he knows the potential Rudy has from his magic and the training from Ghislaine.
