I feel like the Hina thing, whether she dies or not, depends on if Takemichi stays with the gang ALL the way into the future. Cuz the point would still stand that he's in the gang, and Hina would still be involved with him. Hope this makes sense.

Takemitchy following the same future route that led to Hina's death is vexing. He shouldn't have broke up with her. Kisaki's probably licking his lips right now. He probably leaked the info about Takemitchy to her dad. *Not a manga reader just speculation

Doesn’t the dad say that his wife tells him all about that stuff? That aside, the breakup might matter later just cuz it’s a story, but as of rn, I don’t see how the 2 connect. Either way, even if Takemichi resolved everything, if he stays a gang member then what’s the point of dating her again unless he just says, “fuck it”

I think you're right. Him quiting the gang while remaining with Hina would've heavily altered the future. I can see Takemitchy choosing to remain with Hina and her death still being inevitable because Kisaki haven't been dealt with. Good point.
