Masaki and Ryu are both high born pure blood Quincy's. In cased you missed it White passed on his Hollow powers to Masaki. Thus allowing her first born Ichigo to use hollowfication. The fact White choose a Quincy shocked even Aizen at the end of the episode.

Its the mantle that Urahara uses when rescuing the Vizards in Turn back the Pendulum. It supresses all reiatsu, thats why Ishin didnt notice them. Maybe they explain it next week but its probably not mentioned again.

Yeah, White is Ichigos nine tailed fox so to speak. If you follow the beginning of this ep and all of bleach, Ichigo never had a sword from the zero squad, whereas every other Shinigami have. He also never had a Shikai release for his sword. To me, Ichigo is more like an Espada, where his fake bankai is like a ressurection of his hollow. Thats why his Getsuga is like a Cero.
