Demon Slayer was fire, but it used way more CGI then Ranking of Kings. I can't decide between :D The hype but sometimes to much CGI Demon Slayer, or the smooth flow of Ranking of kings. if you had asked me in 2021 :P then maybe I would have been able to answer.

it is because the normies got in to everything :D even anime. But this anime is one of the greats!

RoK got its own recognition! It actually rose up to the top 20 anime of all time, or a number around there lol. So just cause RoK didn’t get a lot of marketing, it still earned a lot of publicity amongst the anime fandom.

Lmao you dont even know who the names of the animators of this one specific scene in ROK unless you google search hard enough. The director makes things happens which is why they always get credited first in most movies/ tv show. Just like in cooking there are chefs and then there are head chefs. Get it??? lmaoo So you talking about one specific scene and yet you blurted out "Best animation so far this year" The last 3 final episodes of demon slayer was god tier from beginning to finish. The recent episodes of one piece were god tier from beginning to finish. And yet you were just talking about 1 scene. Yes the animation was fire in this episode but even lycan was weirded out by the portrayal of king bosse being a giant instead of him fighting with daida's body plus the fight was too quick. Which was disappointing. You can have great animation all you want but the direction they were going for didnt really do much to be honest.
