Na you right, anit nothin starting yet. And like everyone said this is the part that drags. You guys at least are watching while it's all out so you won't stay on the drag side. Watching week to week was horrible. But yeah the anime caught up to the manga at this point.

i think these episodes were the ones that made me stop watching all together way back when I was younger. I remember the stupid giant nutcracker looking dolls so vividly. I hate their stupid creaking noises just as much as amenz hates snow noises lol. Im glad I came back eventually though, love one piece.

I'm here watching every episode as it comes out. I feel you though, this part of Dressrosa is hella slow. It's easier for us who have already seen these parts though, because we know what happens in the future. So knowing how long the slow parts last kinda makes them feel not as slow, if that makes sense.

Lol people tried to tell ya'll about this trash ass pacing and ya'll shrugged it off. Also yes the anime had caught up to the manga and rather than create filler they padded episodes. This arc has 102 manga chapters BUT the anime has 118 episodes which is abysmally slow and makes the pacing to slow for a 20 minute anime episode.

The bird cage drag finally got to them lmao. Its ok tho a lot of people drop off One Piece and come back because of this Arc. But on rewatched its better in my opinion.

I binged most of these episodes, so I can really feel the slow pace rewatching it with you guys. The future arcs aren't this bad tho lol

Funny you should mention it. One of the manga's cover stories does have aliens, space pirates in fact. Enel took them out after they blew up the Maxim ship on the moon. Wasted potential for more canon anime instead of fillers. You should read cover stories for some of that juicy world building, only up to a point of course.

Ngl I do skip a lot of the boring bits since you can't really react to them. There are totally awesome moments coming though, mainly the back stories so we look forward to that.

It’s just the pacing of weekly anime. It’s not being money hungry persay. Dragon Ball Z had the same bad pacing to it. You all not wrong for not liking the pacing either. Is most definitely shit and not enjoyable If One Piece only had 24 episodes a year like Tokyo Revengers, Jujutsu Kaisen, or Demon Slayer they’d be the most content packed badass episodes there could be with great animation and all. Because they have month to make 24 episodes. But One Piece isn’t that. It’s a weekly anime. Also during Dressrosa Toei was working on One Piece, Dragon Ball Super, and One Piece: Film Gold It really affected One Piece’s quality with them being spread out like that and sadly enough it effected the Dressrosa arc which is a wild arc to animate as is. It was also catching up to the manga because during Dressrosa, Oda had to spend time in the hospital due to overworking himself Dressrosa with Demon Slayer or Tokyo Revengers pacing would only be 35-40 episodes and it’d be absolutely awesome the whole time

Sugar appears to be a ten-year-old girl, but is actually much older, being 22. The fruit also stopped her aging process, causing her to physically remain a child. Had alot of time to get used to her abilities
