Yea this was I think everyones biggest gripe with Dressrosa, the pacing is abhorrently slow, but trust me and all of us when we say this, the patience is far more than worth what you are about to get.

the 12 episode statement is true, pacing is really bad at dressrosa, imo it's the same from now on, that's why I started reading the manga.

Man these episodes do be dragging. I forgot about this portion of the arc tbh. Shouldn't be too much longer before the anime stops slacking.

Issho is actually completely blind. When it comes to obstacles and other things that are in front of him, he needs his walking stick to maneuver. He uses observation haki to see entities and living organisms around him allowing him to fight. That's why he doesn't always move in battle, he plainly sits still because, while he has a target he can "see" the terrain isn't easy to move around for him. This is also why he brought down a meteor when the bird cage was up, because he forgot the birdcage was there, he can't "see" by any means. But his observation haki allows him to guesstimate really well on fights

Yeah, these episodes really do drag a lot. I'd say it's at its worst in this section. Thankfully, even though it's an even longer arc, the latest arc doesn't feel nearly as padded out, and that's coming from a week-to-week viewer. Dressrosa just happens to be possibly the most padded out arc, unfortunately.

A lot of devil fruit users in this arc have similar powers to baroque works agents from Alabasta. You guys should try to guess who's similar to who

For the record the Kilo-Kilo Fruit and Ton-Ton Fruit are separate but indeed similar. Ms. Valentine had the additional power to become as light as 1 kilo and her limit is 10,000 kilos. Machvise's limit, if any, is beyond that. Some devil fruits simply have superior versions out there, like comparing Monet's snow with Aokiji's ice.

I know it's weird because it is actually two different Devil Fruits but works the same way. The girl from Baroque Works can change her weight by KILOGRAMS, and This man in Dressrosa can change it to TONS. I guess the kg one just has a limit to how heavy in kg she can get

I don't know if you guys want to try it, but One Pace is an option. This arc is probably one of the worst in terms of pacing and quality. I would recommend using one pace until the end of Dressrosa, at least. I've been seeing you all not enjoying it as much, so I thought I would throw this out there.

Actually If you guys go back to observation Haki definition, it allows you to sense people, however it does not allow you to sense objects. Issho can sense people coming at him, but when it comes to obstacles he can't sense them with his observation.

Issho is blind but just to use the example of him in the gambling house, he can probably sense the roulette ball as it spins, but no matter where it lands he can't see the painted on numbers and colors on the wheel so he still needs someone to tell him where it lands. There's limits to even the best levels of awareness when you can't actually use your eyes.

Actually Mach Vice can be Light as well, but only as light as 1 ton, which is still the weight of a polor bear. However she does have an additional effect to be skinny regardless of her weight. While Mach Vice has to be at least 1 ton. The main difference is the increments they can increase their weight in, Ms Valentine can increase her weight in Killo's while Mach Vice can only increase it in Tons. So while Machvise has heavier weight, Ms Valentine has more variation.

So about the devil fruit the fat guy of the donquixote family uses. He has the ton-ton fruit, the girl from alabasta had the kilo-kilo fruit. So the dude here got the superior version of the same type of devil fruit. Also, now that you know about the name Corazon: Corazon is spanish for heart, laws pirate group is called the heart-pirates, also check out what is written on laws jacket.

The Kyros part was supposed to just be a joke. It's an Oda gag. But for the rest the jumping around and all that's normal. Oda writes one piece not like a traditional Shonen were the fights of certain characters will be shown it will just show for story purposes. It maybe annoying but it's how Oda does things. The pacing tho is because at this point the anime was catching up to the manga
