I didn’t see anyone explain it properly so I’ll make it short. These episodes are parts from the mangas cover stories. They are just as or even more important to the future of the story as every other episode in the series. There’s very little added to these episodes that makes it different from the manga. Glad y’all are enjoying the show much love

Most of these scenes are added fillers, like sanji and that weird scene where he was embarrassed when carol was looking at his underwear. But him dressing up as a girl was part of the cover story though.
