Also Shanks uses a sword and is the captain of his crew and an Emperor. Since he had duels with Mihawk in the past, I think he is a strong swordsman, so it is still possible to reach hight if one uses a sword :) I mean, he also clashed with Whitebeard with his sword, even though his Haki is insane too.

I recently found out that Oda's original concept sketches show Margaret was going to be a black cat Zoan, and Inazuma a crab Zoan. So "Crab-chan" is a reference to the scissors as well as that.

All the moves are only slow because of the animation. They are trying to put time as much as they can to fill the 23min quota

Guys, why this entire arc Ivankov voice sounds way different? I thought I was out of my mind. He speak differently and he has a lower voice and less charisma. I really thought the Mandella effect was for me, but I watched fragmants of these episodes on youtube, and Ivankov really has a different voice there! I am amazed. I didn't know that One Piece has two versions of Ivankov's dubbing. How is this possible? Explain me plsss

That really shouldn't bother you, Oda has himself to blame that s how they view the story. Dramatic scenes still hit. Just not fake death. aka Pell, Sheep head in Syrup s village. Now let them continue the story maybe that mindset will go away over time

Just want to note, any animation, slow pacing, unnecessary scenes you see in the anime has nothing to do with Oda. It’s all Toei. Remember, the anime is an ADAPTATION of the original story. Cheers
