I was waiting for them to pick up on the hints that Garp was dropping which I think is why they were so surprised cause they didn't get the hints at all. When Garp sees Luffy sleeping he says "he's as hopeless as ever" and then after punching him calls Luffy by his first name like he knows him. Although it still would've been a big shock.

I'm not on anyone's side about this, but, I would guess that 200,000,000m Berries would be around the equivalent of 2,000,000m Dollars in our world...and possibly 2 million dollars but if you were living in a 3rd world country so the exchange rate is up. Sailing in the best ship you can possibly get (especially from the island of the worlds best shipwrights) is not just a luxury but a dang neccessity when you are in the grand line as a regular pirate let alone when your goal on top of it all is to actually be the dang King. It took Nami years just to save up to 1,000,000m Dollars, and The Strawhats literally had to randomly go to the sky, fight a god and be rewarded by Angels in gigantic sacks of Ancient Gold to miraculously-instantly-randomly gain 2mill like they won a freaking scratch off ticket. in other words, by complete random chance, extreme luck, and a but load of work they stumbled onto 3,000,000 milllion dollars in heaven. From what we've seen Luffy would have to do something as crazy as defeat a warlord (if their bounties were still active) to earn money like that, heck if Luffy himself turned himself in the crew would still only have of what Franky stole....BUT, asides from playing devil's advocate I think personally i forgave Franky too by now when i first watched but I can't remember for certain...
