Mugiwara Jay

This is why Luffy is My favorite Shounen Protagonist. He dont care about the consequences and he always follow his beliefs even if its viewed as "Evil"

Sakazuki.... Just don't forget this name..

they haven't completed enies lobby yet though, so thats not an option for this arc

You’ll get more understanding of the type of “Justice” some of the marines believe in, even now you’re beginning to understand that not all marines are the same and it only gets worse the higher the rank they are. Also on the deaths, Oda rarely kills people in present time, but in flashbacks he doesn’t mind deaths happening. Also Aokiji said no one on the island will survive because there’s no way they would allow any of them to escape, even Sakazuki made sure to kill the innocent civilians

and now that the info is off the way; Sogeking igniting the flag, has to be one of the most heat moments in One Piece (dad pun intended)

That glance at the camera from Lycan when Amenz said "I love you" lmao

legit dunno why you deleted my post, looking on comments under other videos i found everything i've been telling, dunno why mine should be considered spoiler if they ain't; and it was far less offensive and annoying than other comments i'm looking at, so i really can't understeand the reason... either way i guess that people having said all the things i said it was rendundant, even tho at the time i wrote it, some of these comments weren't there yet...

Remember the name of Sakazuki

Hey DDBros, here's a quick summary of the Admiral ranking system of the Marines: 1) Fleet Admiral - Currently Sengoku in present day (in this flashback he was only an Admiral). Has the power to mobilize all Marines as its head. 2) Admirals - Main forces of the Marines. Only 3 people hold this title at once and Aokiji (which is a codename literally translating into Blue Pheasant. His real name is Kuzan so that's why people call him either or) is one of them. The other 2 codenames have been revealed when Robin explained this when Aokiji first appeared before the strawhats but it's not too important at this time. 3) Vice-Admirals - One level below Admirals but still very powerful in their own right. This is the highest rank below them so this rank is filled of very capable guys. A buster call summons 5 five vice admirals and 10 warships to annihilate a target. Typically, there should also be an Admiral during a buster call (since they and the Fleet Admiral are the only ones able to activate it, but the Ohara case and the Enies Lobby saw an Admiral allow CP9 to "borrow" this authority). edit: forgot to mention there appears to be no limit on how many people hold the rank of Vice Admiral. Below this, you have Commodores, Captains, Sergeants, etc. That's a quick rundown- hope it's helpful! And again, sorry if this has been stated before or if it's understood already. It's definitely easy to mix up the three positions since they are thrown together very often.

Man im crying again watching the scene 😭 but after this, its heat 🔥

I just want to add one little bit of info, since the anime and the subtitles aren't showing what Oda showed in that manga chapter back then - Vice Admiral Sakazuki is the real name of one of the 3 Admirals in present time, more specifically Akainu (the others being Aokiji and Kizaru, like Robin said). Not a big deal, but with the anime not always using the "introduction boxes" used in the manga I think it was worth mentioning.

Absolute justice

It's good that you guys are getting practice in pausing fast, because the current outro is the last one. When the next real opening starts there is no outro, it goes straight into preview of next episode, which can be scary. Speaking of the outro, the images are different sets of fan art.

Fuuuuuck yeahhhhhhhh these reactions were LIT. Love these episodes man. I think this was when I first started considering OP as my favourite anime. The feels and the hype are legit and there wasn't even a fight! Literally just storytelling. Shit is so damn good.

Nick K

Robin saying she wants to live messes me up every time. Got me tearing up.

GingerNopples

When I watched this for the first time I cried 100%. That still hasn't changed. One Piece knows how to hit them feelings.

Angel Zane

Great episode today guys! Just wanted to throw in that Saul is most likely dead due to the fact that he was frozen solid and at the same time a buster call was issued. A buster call is designed to eradicate an entire island with no survivors. That’s why they’re after robin, that and her ability to ready ponoglyphs.

If buggy was there he would of ended the buster call

Lleon Swanston

Impel Down is the big prison that you are thinking of they explained it in the episode where they described the location of Ennis Lobby but it will be more clear later on.

Amenz: Robin I love you Lycan: wtf Hahaha love it lmao

I will say this, that robin scene is better dubbed you should check it out

The Navy guy who was there with aokiji and sengoku said: "I bet Mr. Saul must've let her escape right before he died." So the only Possibilities would be he died, survived on his own and got away or the navy caught him undercover and told everyone Saul died.

Mabdi of the sand

Everyone on ohara died except Robin they already confirmed it by saying Robin was the only survivor

Lil Zoro Vert

I just realised that the chopper flashback made yall cry but this one didn’t. Yall mustve toughened up after that

RuF

Chopper flashback hit different. A tier above robin imo

The other vice admirals belief is called absolute justice

Anonymous

At the end of the video he forgot what kuzan said about what type of justice some marines follow I’m just reminding him

If you go back and listen to Vivi's final speech in Alabasta about her time with the straw hats it makes the this episode hit twice as hard with the crew showing robin the light

Anonymous

I know im late to the party but this is one of the best episodes in all of my own watched animes!

wheres 279??

Dr. Foppo

Cool that Lycan didn't just immediately call Sakazuki evil but picked up on Aokiji calling it "absolute justice" which is the exact opposite of his "lazy justice". Aokiji doesn't want to blindly follow orders or jump the gun. He wants to get his own view on things and have his own sense of justice, if possible. That's why he probably hestitates a lot and doesn't act quickly (like letting Straw Hats go). And he just covers that up, kind of, by saying that he was lazy.
