After the events of the first movie, Stephanie Smothers, a widowed single mother who runs a viog with crafts and recipes, has written a book about EMILY, her former friend who went to prison for kiling her twin sister. One day, Emily
shows up and reveals that she's out on appeal. In truth, she's helping the feds catch some dangerous criminals. Stephanie is shocked when Emily asks her to be the maid of honor at her upcoming wedding in Capri on the Amalfi Coast. Stephanie's son away at camp, so she jumps at the chance to go on a nice vacation. But Emily gets her into trouble, Iike usual.
