Little clip of the base mesh + build release plan (Patreon)

I'm probably pushing my luck with this one, but I thought I'd post a brief clip of the (unfinished) basemesh. Still have texture and face improvements to make, as well as sculpting some generic musculature and bone structure under the skin.

For the character creator, I'm planning to include some form of normal map combining to allow the player to change how toned the character is, along with body fat percentage. Hopefully this texture system combined with actual shape morphs will allow for some really natural looking body type variants.

Sorry for the choppiness in the video, for some reason OBS doesn't play well with UE4. Maybe I need to play with recording settings or get a better computer D:  Hopefully the Japanese style mosaic censorship is enough here not to offend Patreon's new sense of morality. 

Speaking of that, my plan for Naughty Sandbox's early access build releases, at least at first, will be to release builds publicly. From a crowdfunding perspective, I'm sure this isn't the best idea, but I'd like to try it out for now and see how it goes. Public builds will be censored with the mosaic censoring system. Patreon supporters supporting the project at the Supporter Tier will have the option of turning the censorship off or leaving it on, just in case you want to demo the game to your mom.

The first build I plan to release will be a Rodeo Machine scene, and will probably be quite simple with basic interactivity. I'd like the first builds of the project to demonstrate visual quality and immersion before I start pushing the features and interactivity, and releasing a scene where a girl is riding the rodeo machine helps me stay focused on precise goals such as -

• Having the base mesh rigged and animated

• Having a jiggle physics system in place 

• Having one environment completed

Build releases will probably continue this trend of being quite narrow in scope until stuff eventually comes together and becomes more sandboxy.
