This year I'd like to get a little less reliant on commissions and have more time to pursue projects that I'm more personally invested in. That means growing my following here on patreon and subscribestar.

I started a small comic project back in September, Backstage, as a test to dip my toes into making comics. It fell to the wayside over the holidays but I want to assure you all that I've not given up on it. I plan on restarting it (not that it got very far, anyway). I've mentioned before I'm using Blender to make complex and detailed backgrounds a bit less daunting. This should help a lot with comics. I also want to throw in a little bit of a story. I've got a bit of experience writing but don't expect anything spectacular, particularly for this one.

I've also had the idea of running another poll. I've been having a lot of fun sketching recently, so I'm thinking of letting you all vote on which ones could get finished. I don't want to be quite as rigid with the time frames for these votes, they might end up running over between months depending on how large the illustration is.

I'm also interested in hearing what y'all would like to see more from me! Be it OCs, fanart, particular themes, or more of a certain style, etc. Let me know in the comments!

I want you to make what you are passionate about. Your art keeps getting better and I love how many pieces you produce, but if you want to take time to work on larger projects, like comics, I'm here for that too. Would love to see a cast of your OCs form up with updated references.

I always had the firm belief that some of the best artwork is done when the artist gets more creative freedom. Since joining, I've noticed immense improvements in you skills and love the idea of more comics, adds to the characters. Love the quick stuff too! I'm quite artsy, not that I draw or paint often, but I love to study pieces. Plus, the degenerate in me likes it all lol
