Ayn (Patreon)

Fluff-Kevlar's Ayn, winner of this month's Illustration Poll.

This was tough. I'm trying to push myself a bit more in the scope of my work and do some larger scenes. 

I took some inspiration from modern Arabic architecture and some of Fluff's work for the background. The masked fellas are his Blue Guard, royal/palace guardsmen in his scifi world. I kept the alts to a minimum for this but even then I had a few troubles with it. The masks in particular were surprisingly difficult and I'm still a little uncertain about them.

I probably won't be doing stuff like this every month but it was nice to do and I'm proud of how it turned out. Hope you enjoy it too!
