Hello Amazing Patrons,

It is I, your James Introcaso, with a brand-spanking-new ARCADIA table of contents. This issue has been cooked up by some of the industry’s best authors, editors, consultants, artists, and testers, so let’s dive into the amuse-bouche that the team has prepared for you.

What Lies Beneath by Indrani Ganguly

Go deep below the waves and behold three new sea creatures inspired by South Asian mythologies—Buddhist, Hindu, and Newar stories. From loyal guardians (the mighty makara), to mythical cornucopias (the prismatic Randhanu), all the way to a ferocious three-headed sea serpent (the draconic vritnaga), you’ll have plenty of original critters to bring your seafaring adventures to life. Did we mention that Randhanu can get big enough to swallow a tarrasque?

Dungeon Invasions by Chris Bissette

You planned your session and sat down to play, but the players blasted through all of your encounters and you still have an hour left to fill. “Dungeon Invasions” presents three surprise boss enemies to drop into your games at a moment’s notice. If you’re familiar with the recurring monsters that just won’t die in horror movies and video games, then this is the article for you! Say hello again and again to the Bleeder, the Terraformer, and the Mutator.

A Spirit Across Seas and Stars by Bianca Bickford

When the characters come into possession of the Marcuria, a sentient sailing ship, they can embark on an adventure to fully awaken the vessel and unlock its ability to soar through the skies and to new worlds. This narrative outline provides adventure ideas, NPCs, and more to help you weave the story of the Marcuria throughout your campaign.

You can come hang out on Discord and Reddit to talk with a bunch of other MCDM fans about ARCADIA, The Illrigger, Beastheart and Monstrous Companions, Kingdoms & Warfare, Strongholds & Followers, Flee, Mortals!, and the upcoming MCDM RPG!

Gotta get back to making those mortals run for their lives!

FAQ

Q: If I’m on the MCDM+ tier, will I still get ARCADIA?

A: Yes! ARCADIA is available to all paid Patreon tiers.

Q: How long will I be able to download the ARCADIA PDF attached to this post?

A: Indefinitely. All issues of ARCADIA remain attached to their launch posts. You can read more about it here.

Q: I know someone who wants to get a copy of ARCADIA, but they don't want to use Patreon. Is there somewhere else they can get it?

A: Definitely, and we understand! That's why, when we post the current issue of ARCADIA to Patreon, we add it to the MCDM shop at the same time. :D On the MCDM shop an issue of ARCADIA is $12. And at the time of this post, there are bundles of ARCADIA 1–6 and ARCADIA 7–12 for $14.99.

Q: I want to submit an article for ARCADIA or write for MCDM. How do I do that?

A: Thanks for your interest, but we don’t accept open submissions—you can check out this post to learn more about how we source articles and authors.

Q: What is this, an FAQ for ANTS? I have a question and it's not one of the ones listed here!

A: Oh no! D: If you need help with anything MCDM-related, email our support inbox (hello@mcdmproductions.com) and we'll do everything we can to make sure you're taken care of! :)

I know "you can get Arcadia on Roll20, but it would be awesome to get Arcadia on Shardtabletop too."
