The Patreon is currently just a way to get earlier access to chapters of Level One God. It'll also give you access to the Level One God Discord and matching tier badges based on your subscription level. The Patreon and Discord are all things I'm planning to evolve as I get a better feel for how things go, so expect some more fun bells and whistles as time goes on.

I've been writing full-time in a different genre for about 8 years, but this is my first lit RPG. Patreon, Royal Road, and running a Discord are also completely new for me. I'm confident I'll get the hang of it, but it may just take me a few weeks to kind of get a feel for it all.

I wanted to write a full-blown fantasy book for as long as I can remember. I wound up kind of falling into the genre I've been writing in and hoping to find the time to sneak a book out on the side. Somehow, 8 years passed, and I never did it. A year or two ago, my lit RPG cherry was popped by Dungeon Crawler Carl. Then I read Cradle and a few others in the genre I really loved. When I learned it was a popular self-publishing genre, I decided to give it a shot sooner or later.

So here I am! The real goal is to prove to myself that I can entertain readers enough with a lit RPG to maybe even hang up my other pen name and genre for good.
