Hi all,


We're here with the first update for September. Whilst it does include a vast list of changes, additions and improvements, this update does not yet include character customisation as it simply isn't ready yet; in order to implement customisation we have to rip out much of the existing content and we need to finish up a multitude of things before we can do so without entirely breaking the game.

It's been a packed month of development for us thus far and it shows no sign of stopping. For starters we've entirely rebuilt the world, shifting landmarks around and reforming areas to reflect our evolving designs and understanding of the kingdom. The NPC count in the world has been significantly increased, so the villages and farms should feel less abandoned (this will increase yet again in future). These changes do mean that old saves will not work at all due to all world positions of NPCs having changed.

For those that wish to wield the most powerful implements of death there are new tools in the arsenal of crafting options; Damascus Weapons. These lethal blades and spears are crafted from rare materials and will make short work of even the toughest foes.



The new customisation will drop in the second update of the month, featuring all-new seamless bodies for Draconids and Humans (Felians are receiving their own overhaul along with the addition of Jackals next month). There are a multiple hair/horn options for each race coming in the updates too, so you'll finally be able to drastically alter your character, no longer locked to a specific appearance.

Players will now have to unlock the use of the Alchemist and Weaponsmith, finding the characters in the world and recruiting them for the camp. Be wary however, their current captors may not look too kindly on you releasing their "guest".



Bast's Inquisitor now features all-new, post-defeat options for those players who don't want a violent finale to the confrontation (and one for those who want a more violent ending for the Cat-Worshipping Zealot). There will be more options to come in future, for her and other defeated mini-bosses.


Sabu is more alive than ever, with overhauled Crocodiles and Hippos now patrolling her waterways.

The patch at the end of this month will the different body variations/sizes be for all races or thats just examples of the new texture styles

When the customization system is added, do you think it might be possible to add an option to collect the existing "body parts" items for use in the customization menu? Inventory space is limited, so it would be nice to be able to collect all these items for customization rather than having to find a place to keep them for later use.

I am not sure I am doing this wrong but no matter how I rotate the statues in "tales of the void" it doesnt trigger the cut scene (including the directions that used to work in older version of the game)

Hello! Just wanted to mention this quick, but there's a bug where, if you jump as your character transits from walking to swimming, you start flying and can't get back down. Love the new npc-filled world!

there is a problem with the oze interaction where you cant escape it at all maybe some other sex interactions to not sure please fix.

Seems like this patch introduced a lot of bugs. Probably an unavoidable consequence of the total overhaul of the map. The quest "Welcome to Sabu" doesn't point to the Anubites you're supposed to talk to, and I can't find them.

Thank you again for the new update and quality content! I am pleased to say that I continue to look forward to further updates. Please don't feel pressured to roll out new content due to deadlines, and I hope you are all taking care of yourselves outside of work. I wish you all the best!

Seems like the best way to avoid bugs is to reinstall the game after each update, my earlier issue with Welcome to Sabu fixed itself. It's kind of frustrating to keep playing through the same low-level content over and over though. That being said, thanks for the update. The in-game map is way more readable than the previous version, and I like the new map layout, particularly the placement of the fast travel points.

bug- Fatal crash and game shut down- occurred at the enemy location just outside of the camp, trying to put on the purple wraps while having a drake form. Not sure if it's related to anything but that's what happened

I think instead of adding crafting receipes you should focus on the unfinished quests. Why should we craft those new weapons? There is absolutely nothing to do with it... I love the game but you have to think about the priorities. I joined patreon to support your work but at the end I'm hoping for something that worth my monthly subscription... Sorry to be salty but like for the lingerie poll? Who care? It's a detail you should focus on what's important right now and let those little things and addons for when the game is done. Just my 2 cents.

I am experiencing some MAJOR bugs with the save and loading, often saving makes the game freeze from anywhere to 10 minutes to an hour, and sometimes I have to reboot the game. Often times as well, loading a previously saved game deletes the quests in progress and clears out all progress data from that saved game. I do not think it's my laptop settings, because I did not have this problem with the last 10 or so updates since I have been a patron.

Oh and the option with the slaver holding the two npcs when you get the male form suddenly drops the quest part to add a new slave to your camp (If that was an option). I first saw the option available and it said Requires Male Form, so when added, the quest suddenly went to Requires Urn, and no matter HOW MANY TIMES I USED IT, it didn't allow anything... just wondering if the quest is not finished or updated...

(BUG) Milk and Honey - Returning the right eye to Anubis, right as the fight started I spawned in the Pots to the right of the statue. Couldn't get out of them. Reloading from a previous saved actually broke the quest. The enemy was spawned in and couldn't interact with Anubis anymore to give the right eye to.

BUG - Bast's Inquisitor now features all-new, post-defeat options . Bugged end animation and camera. The enslaved inquisitor is invisible once defeated and an animation with the cage is visible only by clicking on E near the statue but the camera position is completely off. After that nothing else remain visible. (Is this ending supposed to do something?)

Combat doesn't seem to work correctly anymore, I'm kept too far away from the enemies to be able to hit them most of the time.

BUG - QUEST: Glory of the Gods - Unable to progress in the quest, trying to retrieve the vessel for offering at the shrine, but the vessel is 10-15 metres up in the air, no way to reach it.

BUG - QUEST: Milk & Honey - Unable to progress in the quest. At first visit to the Shrine of Anubis, the quest marker is several metres up the left hand wall, can't reach it to trigger the next part of the quest. Seems as though with the map overhaul, some quest markers/objects aren't where they should be.
