We've just released new fixes! (ver. 1.2.8)
Please update your installation by checking for updates through Anki!
(Your previous settings, dictionary installations and groups, and export templates will not be effected when updating through Anki ).

What we fixed in this version:
1. Fixes Field Key Error Anki Importing Issues
2. Removes Brackets When Exporting Known Words to the Browser Extension (should greatly improve known word parsing accuracy, sorry for this oversight! We thought this was already implemented 🤦‍♂️ )
3. Fixes issues with the Card Exporter not popping to the front when adding cards, sentences, etc to it.
4. Your Anki collection is now saved after each card is added to it, to ensure that any errors don't cause card loss.

If you are having issues with images not being sent from the Browser Extension to the Dictionary Add-on then this means you downloaded the 32-Bit version of Anki 2.1.35 (Likely from the Anki website directly.)

We’re excited to announce a major update to, and the public release of Migaku Dictionary Plus !

This update includes vastly improved search speeds, automatically adding definitions to cards created in the card exporter, greatly improved dictionary installation and downloading directly through a GUI, automatic FFMMPEG installation, cards from the extension are sent directly to Anki without the need to download any files to the browser, support for translated subtitles from the browser extension, a “User Notes” field in the card exporter where you can paste in definition or other information, and a lot more!

To use Migaku Dictionary with the Immerse with Migaku Browser Extension then you must install its latest update!

Complete Change Log

1. Add-on now auto installs FFMPEG on start up.
   1. MP3 conversion is also enabled by default.
2. Vastly improved search speed
3. Folder installation discontinued:
   1. Install dictionaries from a server directly through our web installation wizard.
   2. Or install dictionaries from zip files
4. Images and Audio files from the extension are now sent directly to the add-on without being downloaded to the Browser’s downloads folder.
   1. The options to set a download folder and remove these media files automatically have been removed.
5. A progress bar window is shown when bulk importing cards from the browser extension.
   1. You can cancel importing from the extension at any time by closing this window.
6. A “Don’t Export” option has been added to images and audio in the Export Template editor.
7. Bulk importing from the extension no longer goes adds cards through the Card Exporter, they are added directly to your collection.
8. Images added from the extension are now appropriately resized according to your preferences in the settings menu.
9. Ability  to automatically add definitions to cards created with the Card Exporter
   1. A checkbox to turn this mode on or off is located at the bottom of the Card Exporter
   2. An options button is located at the bottom of the Card Exporter which allows you to select up to 3 dictionaries to export definitions from.
   3. (The definitions exported will go to the fields configured in the Export Template currently in use).
10. Secondary Field Added to Card Exporter
    1. This field is automatically filled by the browser extension with subtitles loaded into the secondary subtitle track.
11. Added User Notes Field to Card Exporter
    1. Can be used to paste in definitions
12. The Sentence, Secondary field, and User Notes field now support text formatting shortcuts ( Special thanks to Nocompo):
    1. CTRL+B bolds highlighted text
    2. CTRL+U underlines highlighted text
    3. CTRL+I italicizes highlighted text
13. Search limit option in the Card Exporter
    1. Limits how many unknown words will be searched per sentence added using the Anki button, or searched using the magnifying glass button in the Extension.
    2. Value is 1 - 10 words.
14. Added a persistent tags field to the card exporter that will add tags to all cards that are created. (Special thanks to Nocompo)
15. Last used Mass Generation settings are saved now.
16. Google Images and Forvo now work when searching multiple words at once with the extension.
17. Google Images and Forvo now work on initial dictionary start up.
18. Google Safe Search option has been added to the settings window and enabled by default.
19. Dictionary no longer needs to be open to import cards from the extension.
