Immerse with Migaku Browser Extension (ver 0.0.3) Fixes and New Features:

1. Added Anki Importing Options (Please wait after pressing confirm when importing, it may appear frozen but it is not, I will add progress bars in the very next update)


2. Fixed the issue where one cannot re-enable recording after it was enabled once.

3. Fixed manifest could not be loaded issue.

Browser Extension Upgrading Instructions for All Platforms:

1.If you want to continue using your word list please download a backup that you can later import after updating to the new version.

2. In the Chrome extension menu click the "Remove" button as shown below.

3. If you have place the accentAudio folder in your old ImmerseWithMigaku folder, remove it from that folder

4. Delete the old ImmerseWithMigaku folder.

5. Unzip the new ImmerseWithMigaku folder.

6. Replace the accentAudio folder into the new ImmerseWithMigaku folder.

7. Follow the original installation instructions in the video above to install the new update.

Please use The Unarchiver to unzip the audio files above in order to avoid encoding issues and unplayable audio files.  You can also search the App Store for "The Unarchiver" and install it from there.

Follow the ffmpeg part of the Mac instructions, but instead of clicking to open ffmpeg, open a terminal window at the directory and run "chmod +x ffmpeg"

Is there any way you could get Catalan as one of the languages. Just wondering. No problem if you can’t because it’s not as big as the other languages

Eventually sure, but it is unlikely to be a priority since it won't be helpful to the community at large. If you really feel you need it and have the finances, consider becoming The One (the highest tier on Patreon) then I can prioritize it for you.

When using netflix, everytime I chose a word as known the subtitle will disappear so I have to go back to the subtitle again. Not really much of an issue but a little annoying if I want to look at another word after, maybe something that can be fixed?

I'm trying to use the extension for Spanish, but there's no selection for Spanish nor European Spanish from the drop-down menu with certain shows (i.e. Elité, La Casa de Papel) . Am I missing something?

The selection is only available for shows on Netflix that have Spanish subtitles available for them. Try using a VPN as a lot of shows only have subtitles of one's target language when using a vpn that places you in your target country.

Because there were so many language options for the series I was watching (31 to be exact), the drop-down menu only displayed the languages that fit the screen, and all other languages past that point were cut out. The problem was there was no way to scroll down past it (maybe something to fix in a future update?) And only after hooking my laptop up to an external monitor, a much larger screen, was I able to view ALL 31 languages available.

Thanks for making this Yoga! Unfortunately, when I try to open the accents zip file I get the message "Archive is not readable. Would you like to try a password?". I haven't seen any other mention of this problem on here or on your Youtube video. Any idea what's going on?

Hi - For some reason I'm unable to import my words from Anki. I believe I followed the steps in the video, but my Known Word Count remains at 0.
