Get the walker and go smack the Temples/Gods around for being jerks

Blah64

Cerebruh. Solidify them continental communications.

Anonymous

Vote for Horns! Make Horns Great Again! 🐞🐞🐞

Osprey36

Go for cerebro and make that continent the safest one around, maybe he could then place tree wherever he wanted or hijack the message communication to listen in on things

Craig

If his goal is to shelter his people, win the war, and resist demons. Then the best option by far has to be the Tree-Overmind. Having a domain over the whole continent just checks all of his recent goals. -it’s the best at reclaiming the rottedlands. By directly increasing the area of his influence, the degree of his influence, as well as his resistance to their influence -it gives perfect intel on invading armies.

Anonymous

Serpent Guardian would be best for non-demonic enemies. AOE poison plus creating poison spawns. Great counter towards all mundane threats like human armies.

Jonathan

Overmind lets us reconnect with meela and lets Aeon peek into the lives of normal people. 2nd is split between walker for long range/carrier and eagle to get wind/lightning. So far his damage is mostly nature and that makes him vunerable/counterable.

Jeremy Humphrey

Walker as a mobile assault force and mind tree to smack down invaders. Tree tree has always been more concerned with people then demons.

Jeremy Humphrey

Also the fact that mind reading allows the author to explore more facets of the story by having aeon interpreting the inner thoughts of those around him (even if a titan familiar would be really good too in conjunction with the divine king of aeon later for an immortal king)

n00by_ME

I go for Cerebro with the Walker as a close second, and that's only because of the sudden war with the Temples. Walker bombardment on the temple and BOOM! But that may very well destroy the whole village/town/city/capital around those temples aswell, which would probably not realy appeal to the people. So Cerebro and give every enemy nightmares for life. xD

Robert Mullins

Walker city can be a valthorn fortress/ training ground.

Anonymous

Everything can be solved with nature. Forest fire? Fire-resistant plants. Too much water? Aquatic plant life. Stupid humans? Carnivorous plants that adore flesh.

Anonymous

The walker doesn't have to be militaristic. It could be a trade hub for the whole world, with its own badass guards. It's a city that can easily flee the demon king or lure it to Aeon so he can kill it. If it's big enough, it could cross the oceans and spread Aeon's influence. The possibilities are limitless. I mean, I don't understand why he hasn't made seeds for his giant trees and have the Valthorns plant then around the world. With the overmind thing, he could effectively communicate with those trees and spread in that area, like a disease originating from a certain point, except it's beneficial.

just_a_potato

I feel like Cerebro should be Treerebro or Tahreebro (phonetically not sure how you'd want to spell it)... just saying.

Devon

He is the most loyal spirit and is fun to have around.

reji

Why Eagle? It's super boring! Only grant fly to Aeon's minions to organize first aerial division?.. And I surprised nobody selecting Jura's immortality. P.S. Walking city is the best! And probably mind tree - this will solve his long range communication problem

Anonymous

I think it's past time Aeon got some aerial combat capability.

Jonathan

Plus he can do in depth checks on his higher ups and ensure that people he gives advanced classes to will be loyal. Aeon should just start giving out a bunch of those to bolster the freshlands.

n00by_ME

The problem with this would be wether he even wants to be immortal, which I personally doubt very much. Second problem would be that he'd need to be at the front in major battles, which doesn't seem like much but if you take this "holy crusade" that's brewing as an example there are three potential frontlines and only one Jura. And you have atleast three other things in the list that have better potential in such scenarios.

Thirteen

I agree walker is good But he is a tree he needs a solid and stable base before he gets fancy items like a walking titan Tree mind has so many uses so does royal beetles and treeants or the serpent I chose the tree mind cause it can assists with surveillance training and I'm hoping research which I believe his research ability is super important

Code Reed

Looks like the overmind and walking city are winning. Those were my choices to. The overmind serves his immediate needs, while leaving room for long term gain in the form of firming up communication infustructure. The walking city is more for fun. Who the hell could look at that option and not think it's cool? Besides that, Aeon has a hard time projecting force beyond his borders. While not typically nessesary for a tree. Aeon has decided on a proactive approach after his passive one has met with poor results. Proactive actions, need proactive means. So a Mobile Artillery Fortress (Or a MARs if you will) with a personal army, and complete self reliance. That gives it a great force projection multiplier in places where a supply chain isn't possible.

Akaeye

So the tree over mine means everyone can read everyone else’s mind, and he can read all their minds, I feel like he’s got a bit too much control considering he can already hear everything

InfernalDrake

He has 3, so I hope that he chooses the Storm Eagle as the Third soul in the future, with the way the poll is looking. Honestly, it sounds really cool, and eagle/birds don’t get enough love across various fantasy media as it is.

treeaeons

@everyone the serpent and eagles are actually yggdrasil references. Eagles being Veorfolnir, and the Serpent being Nhiddogg. Just fyi xD

InfernalDrake

That makes a bunch more sense. I had thought that the eagle was a american thunderbird reference.

Anonymous

And Fenrir the wolf

Quyan640

In my opinion, the best options are Tree-over-mind and eagle because having control over information and the sky is a incredibly vast advantage in war.

Bacon Sir

I recommend we pick Jura’s summon. Both because it fits the “weapon to pass down until it can beat the demon king” criteria perfectly, AND because it means our boy Jura won’t die any time soon and leave Aeon all alone

Dominic French

I think the best way to keep Jura alive right now is to keep him out of battle, he still has a while to go before he is a super strong badass that won't get wrecked by other elites or the demon king. The overmind should be safe at home and the Walker is semi disposable. I mean if it dies he can just make more. Plus it's not like Jura is going to die anytime soon from old age. Hell at the rate aeons advancing hell probably be able to prop all of these Titans up before Jura reaches over 200 years old. Each demon invasion is ten years and these next few demon invasions and the time in between seem like they are not going to be passive which means more growth or death for Aeon.

Kenevarious

Lol this direction Aeon becomes the invasive species of plants on other continents lmao

Khanalas

You should have made it a multiple-choice poll to make distribution more natural

John Doe

So here is what I think: Serpent Guardian Offensive use. This will be an evil options though since it will give a negative impression if people see a giant serpent. Giant Eagle Mainly for utility/support. Air units tend to be weaker. Can be used for transport or speed. Tree-over-mind (Cerebro) Utility/support. But this is too overpowered. Mind control and telekinesis are overpowered abilities because they can scale indefinitely. Eventually, you'll end up with "hey, why didn't you just use the mind control or telekinesis to take care of it". Walker (The City on the Back of a Walking Beast) Utility/support. Staging area but then you start have to write stories about how the city is progressing and who is taking care of it. Seems like a lot of work and it'll take attention away from the main city. Horns and the superBeetle-man Offensive use. But too one-dimensional Jura's Bamboo - Supersummon Utility/support. Maybe offensive use. Personally, this seems like the next logical step because a semi-deity should be able to grant special powers. It also isn't overpowered (eventually there will be hundreds of hero souls, and having hundreds of Titans walking around is overpowered). Granting powers also gives the most flexibility. Ancient Wartreant Offensive use. But also too one-dimensional.

Twin

Big snake. Cool good at fighting. Poison. Snake army.. very nice.. combo with big eagle to make Aeon yagdrasil like. But think the treent would be a nice change. Could bring tree people into story again or show them turning more trent variant on their species. The mind tree while nice does feel too overpowered. While Jura is a big choice as it gives unaging and living longer than his species normally would well. That's a big decision to make and one that should be offered but respected of Juras choice to become such an important member and force in Aeons army. Tldr walking trees please. Could make tree puppets for Aeon to wander around in.

Akaeye

Kind of sucks he’s not getting the snake, I thought it would be perfect, cursed tree with giant snake

Anonymous

Definitely like the walker, as Aeon needs a way to project force outside of his immediate territory. Sending beetles and lines of subsidiary trees is nowhere near as effective as a full mobile fortress. Second choice would be the Overmind tree, simply because resisting mind effects is too important. The side benefits are also nice, of course.

Alex

Finally getting around to voice my thoughts on this and then patreon throws a fit. Any who. My top 2 choices are Tree-over-mind and Walker. The main reason is that I am a firm believer in one tool thatcan do multiple things or has high utility. Which those 2 have more over the other 5. Snake, is more offensive and while it does provide healing Aeon and the other who follow him also have that, so it kinda of feels to much like a one trick tool. Eagle, would be on my number 3 or 4 if Aeon every got around to getting an sky fleet, complete with [Aeonic Sky Admirals/Captains/aeronauts] to help support and back it up. But with out those its abilities are kinda of wasted and make it to niche. Jura Bamboo, is also to much of a one tool use so thats also out. Horn Beetle and Ancient Wartreant both provide both decent utilities and support skills as well offensive capabilities so they tie for 3rd. Walker comes in a 2, due to being a walking mobile city/fortress/hospital/factore/farm and if the Druids can buff it, it can be even better. Even with out the buff the extra druids, healers, crafters would make it the ultimate support titan, being able to provide relief and aid quickly in both times or war and peace ie a mobile food factor and weapons depot. While the other titans are mostly for war, save Treant and Beetle. Finally Tree-over-mind wins 1st because it covers the one weakness that Aeon still kinda of has and that is being Mentally Dominated. While at this point, I think only heroes, gods, demon kings or high level entities could dominate and control Aeon, it'd better to be safe then sorry. Also if I am right the Tree-over-mind should allow Aeon to EAT, not block, the hex bombs now, since I remember in past chapters that a hex bomb was one part souls one emotions. And since he's about to go to war. This would especially if people start turning to hexbombs.. Also the psychic abilities would be cool to...

Venalitor

Uuugh. Why is this hard?
