Hmm i personaly dont tend to start reading something that is on hiatus, prefer to read completed or longer ongoing stories (100+ pages), so when i try it and it is good, it wont just leave me hungry. Not exactly a fun of harem stories so, might try if i get really bored but no promises.

I tend not to read stories before they've grown to a decent length, myself. Too afraid I'll get invested only for them to be cut short due to authors or audiences losing interest.

I only read your tree one

Anonymous

I was unaware you had other stories

treeaeons

Haha. Thanks everyone. It's valuable insight ;p

There might also be the fear that if we show your other works too much attention you might decide to do two stories and thus, aeon becomes a bi weekly release instead of weekly.

After reading manga that got axed or on hiatus, I avoid anything that has to do with either, hate to see a story I’m invested or love just disappear or have an axed ending.I actually try to mainly read completed series due to this reason too

Davvy chappie

Honestly nope I didnt realise you had more then one I'm bad at paying attention I'll check them out!

Corwin Amber

I have the same concern. I already have several stories that I was in the middle of reading by other authors that are quite long that now the author is on hiatus and has failed communicate the reason or the expected length.

Why would someone read something with less than 20 pages?

Anonymous

Or even less than 200?

just_a_potato

I haven't, but shouldn't this post have been titled "Out of curiousitree"?

Augustus

Same I like to read stories where it look like they will be finished.

Anonymous

Haven’t. Less than a couple hundred pages never quenches my hunger for a good read.

Alex

Unfortunately no, Unless a novel is over a certain amount of pages/chapters it doesn't really get on my radar. And I also don't read anything with the harem tag on it. I've read to many bad ones.

n00by_ME

Nope. I, like many others, only read stories once they accumulate a certain amount of chapters/pages. Got burned too often by stories having all the stuff for epicness, just for the Author to disappear or drop the story. It really is depressing for a story to have a really cool and interesting setting, just to never continue. :( And I don't go for stories that don't have the potential to go on for more than a hundred chapters, preferably far more than that.
