Extra Life 0.2 (Patreon)

Hello everyone! The last few days have been completely crazy! I've been promoting the game everywhere in order to ensure the financing of Extra Life. Marketing and advertising, well to be honest that's not really my cup of tea... 

But the feedback coming from the people that tried the game, their compliments, or their reviews were all super cool to read.

I don't necessarily answer them all, but I try to read them all, it's such a joy after working so long on this game in the shadows to finally see people sharing their opinions on the game, talk about it and review it!

Now let's get down to business: about the next version of extra life, v0.2. "What is coming next?" You might ask yourself.

You'll be able to start a brand new day and Noriko will do her best to get on your nerves. I bet that by now you have an idea how she is expected to behave but... 

This is where things will radically change. Your choices given in v0.1 will take you on two different paths: acting firmly with Noriko will take you on the 'alpha male' path where you will be the one dominating the relationship but acting a little too softly or ignoring her will take you on the path where she will be the one leading the relationship and dominating you (and oh well... she will enjoy it). Now, if you don't want to deal with her at all, reject her several times in a row and she will be off the grid as a potential relationship.

You might ask why I took this decision of having the opportunity to put her off the grid entirely. Well, I've been reading some reviews about other games with a similar style as mine, and it appears that sometimes people don't like a character at all and wouldn't like to deal with that character anymore. 

So I thought leaving that possibility open will be appreciable for all kind of players. As for the last novelty of 0.2, I'd like to leave you with a surprise. Some new characters will be introduced: 3 new antagonists will make your life more difficult and challenging, and another character that will become your first friend in this messed up past life that you have to correct by any means. He will help you through the ordeals as long as you can run faster than him, but I will say no more to not spoil the fun of discovery.

I am aware that the addition of so many male characters could be seen as a bad thing but it will be compensated by the number of NSFW CGs that you will finally be able to admire in this v0.2. The rewards will be worth the hassle of fighting those antagonists, trust me.

The new version will also bring other features like a gallery to view the backgrounds, sprites of the characters and CGs at your will. 

And I'm also preparing a cheat mode menu that will give you the possibility to display all the female sprites without clothes (except Chiaki, you monsters!). I'm not yet sure if I'll have the time to finish this menu before the upcoming update, but if not it should be ready for the v0.3.

Now, the burning question, when this damned v0.2 will be coming out? In a year? 6 months? 3 months? None of that! v0.2 will be there for all the patrons to enjoy towards the end of June/beginning of July, so in about a month and a half. This version will be available exclusively for the patrons during 2 weeks and become public after that timeframe.

On another topic, the v0.3 will bring a new female character and I would really love the community to participate in her creation. I will come back in a few days with more informations about it but if I had to say just one word to describe this character, it would be "Tomboy".
