Update: Short Film, ARG/Webseries Counsel, Site, & Darkroom (Patreon)

Thanks to all of you for the well-wishes about the partnership with Crypt! It's an exciting opportunity that's already giving me chances to talk with them about what can be done from our field to theirs, and vice-versa. When I tell you I've had talks with them about our goals both individually and together, I really mean I've had actual conference calls over the microphone to discuss it and get a full understanding. This is one of the only partnerships or sponsors I've ever been offered that felt 100% right.

I also want to check in on just a few things:

- The weather has finally, finally turned... and that means I can resume work on Night Mind Original short films as promised through Patreon. Work on the first one actually began in autumn of last year, but seriously hectic circumtances and the October rush meant only a portion could be taken on. Now, I'm able to go forward; I wasn't going to push through winter and make actors work in the cold of New England.

- I'll be conducting ARG, Webseries, and Project consultation tomorrow (5/2/18), so if we've had talks under way, be prepared for a message from me! And if we haven't started yet and you're part of the Counsel tier or above, send me a message here and we'll get rolling.

- The website posted as a Patreon goal has been on my mind for awhile, and the plan for that was meant to get into motion after the first short film. Because of the difficulties getting the short film done in the timetable I wanted--(due to the cold and losing The Perfect Location, which I'm still unhappy about, but it's not anyone's true fault)--everything else got bumped up. But I've been thinking about it lately and how much it's actually needed when it comes to helping this field, record keeping, community work, etc. I'm going to settle Cabin Fever Dreams, get things nailed done for the first short film's completion, and then start drawing up plans for the site.

- I feel like a Darkroom session is in order. How do you all feel about this Friday evening (5/4), around 7 PM? 

- Also feels good to say I know not only what my next two videos are going to be, I know when they're going to be. I'm excited--my enthusiasm has grown with the seasonal change and I'm motivated by the creativity of what I've got lined up. Both of them are items that have been asked for over the course of at least a couple months, now. ;;3
