YO FOLKS! We missed last week's post! Sorry :o! But without further ado, here's what we've been up to!

Starting with A Word from Vixel!

1/24 weekly update:

Hey floofs!! We missed the update last week so here's my two-week recap!
Week before last, my pet tabby cat of 17 and a half years had to say goodbye. ;n; I was an unproductive emotional wreck for a few days.
Last week I made strong progress in Upgrade project. If you remember from my 1/9 update, I was working on a cleanup pass where I methodically reviewed every script and object that can be spawned throughout the game for leftover design issues. I've now finished cleanup in all areas except the coyotes lair and ottershop! Then I have to fix a few lingering issues with critter dates and fast travel.
This week I'll be able to cross off the first item in our roadmap!
- Spawned objects cleanup: final review of every script and object that can spawn in every room.
Then the roadmap is:
- General cleanup: final review of changes in the overall project.
- Solo playtesting until obvious bugs are gone.
- Test builds for Carrot, back-and-forth with me to fix bugs and re-polish details.
- Share a test build with a bigger group for community feedback.
This week I'll also be working on adding content for our monthly build.

On my side, I spent A TON of time figure out those DANG ASS room tiles! I ended up needing to redo them about... 4 or 5 times? Adjusting pixels at a time, rows of them, reassembling rooms, finding out what does/doesn't line up etc. It was a huge pain in the ass lmao. But I think we're just about there! The next step is to start doing some room mock ups like the one I posted above! (Spoiler alert, amogus is not supposed to be there)

I can also start to block out the "level" - which is super exciting :> It's gonna be a lot of work to paint over everything (well, a lot of things) - but I think the workflow is gonna be super fun once I get enough assets going!

I'm pretty stoked with where this design is at so far, it's a bit on the simple side right now, but everything has an informed decision behind it, giving it all opportunities to be elevated! It's in A LOT better position than the original semi-cave-semi-building mock ups I had before! 

Aside from this, I finished last month's poll content which will be in this month's build. It's a small thing, but it's something! I've had a lot of dumb health hiccups this month slowing me down, but I've been able to keep up a solid pace the past week :>

PART OF THAT SOLID PACE is a bunch of dope ass sketches from this month's 10$+ poll! I'll share that stuff next week :D

Actually, I'll share one now.

For now I've adjusted the voted content to be sketch-related. I'm a bit behind on assets and things to work on, so I didn't want to add to that load, but I did want to make content that could perhaps fuel future content! So the 10$+ peeps got to vote on critters, then I'd doodle several doodles of the critters, with the intent of variation and eventually exploring something a bit fresh! Some are quite spicy, so y'all will get to see them next week :> And they might show up again as a story in the game in the future!

Lastly, I was working on The Gals portion of the sex dungeon. I've been putting this off for a while, but the sketches helped me get in the headspace 

Definitely making some solid progress on this :> It's STILL FUCKIN SUPER LONG, but at least it's a lot of porn lmao.
