This Week in the Forest! #102! (Patreon)

Sorry for the super late post! I've been struggling with insomnia shiz again, and the days kinda blur together x_x! But, I'm trying some meds and hopefully we'll get something figure out soon!

Anyways here's what we've been up to! Starting with a Word from Vixel!

11/14 weekly update:

Howdy floofs! Been working in Upgrade project reassembling our Act 1 story content. A little behind schedule after hitting some snags with Quest Log and Inventory not playing nice with the new database. Also had to redo some problem code that slipped under the radar, for showing Red's reaction portraits during dialogue.

The new designs for spawners and triggers are working well! (Spawners fill a room with characters and props. Triggers do stuff like controlling a cutscene, giving Red waypoints to follow, or moving the camera during dialogue.) A lot of the work I'm doing now is repetitious, setting up spawn rules and testing cinematic moments - which allows me to make quicker progress through the old story chapters to get them back like they were.

The first part of Act 1 (intro, tutorial quests, first part of Bridge quest) is stable now and matches what we have in our current builds! I'm finishing what's left of Bridge Quest Tuesday and hoping to have Plant Quest and the ooze minigame done Wednesday. I think I can wrap up the rest of Act 1 by Friday, and then it's on to resurrecting Act 2 content. I'll need to briefly switch gears as well to put in our Booty Lineup content and do mid-month builds.

On my end I've finished up the illustrations for this month's build, and all the writing/portraits! good amount of content tbh, can't wait for y'all to see it! 

In addition, I've roughed out some sketches for The Gals side of the presenting/booty line up, as shown above. WHO ARE THESE OTHER MICE AND BUNNY LADIES??? Nah it's just different attempts of poses of Mabel/Scarlett. We'll see!
