GAH! I love the designs in Rio! The concept art for those films >ABSOLUTELY FUCK< 

The character animation is absolutely stellar too! I wasn't crazy about the movies, but can't deny the dope art!

The first movie was decent, the second was not. I was paying more attention to my phone until the frog started singing. It was so good I stopped with my phone and started paying attention to the movie. I look it up to find out the Broadway A list star Kristen Chenoweth voices the frog. She was way too good for that movie. Then I find out she played on Bojack horseman and robot chicken. Not sure her decision structure for rolls to play. Wicked on Broadway, bojack horseman. Those are similar right.

The art style and animation are good, and the musical numbers are really nice to look at, but the script and character writing were a joke. Blue Sky as a studio has that problem with all their movies. They have the artists and animators to match Pixar but god do they need some new writers on their team.

the first movie was great however when i watched the second movie i just got the vibe that it was a bird version of meet the fokers it was ok but the first was so much better, except for that adorable poison dart frog Gabi she was so cute
