Hmm, nice review. I will say for the next episode, will you cover a particular imaginary scenario where Pinsir cuts Metapod in half? And people thought Arbok getting its head cut off in Adventures was brutal in terms of violence.

Next week is the most blatant hint that Gary did NOT get an Eevee as a starter. You also gotta wonder what happened to the other two trainers from Pallet Town. Maybe they got done in my "Buried Alive."

I appreciate your reviews, but could you please do more to recap the episode? For instance, you said that Ash caught two Pokémon. Obviously, Caterpie was one, but I couldn't figure out the other. I had to look it up (on Bulbapedia) to figure out that it was Pigeotto. Episode 2 was worse as I couldn't really follow the plot with all the jumping around. Even just a 30 second or 1 minute summary of the plot before you examine scenes would be really helpful!

That's a solid point, and you're really not going to like the next one then XD. I've always written these as companion pieces to the episodes, as in the viewer is meant to watch the episode, then check out the review to see what I thought. However, I think you're right in that I didn't make that clear at the outset, and even a really brief recap at the front wouldn't go amiss. This will start with the episode after next. Patron input makes videos better! : D
