Couldn't do two episodes this week like I wanted, mainly because this one took longer than expected. I think it turned out pretty good, though!

Ash singing? Easier to imagine than you realize. Or at least if you are going by the Japanese dub. Rica Matsumoto is a talent singer in addition to being the voice of Satoshi. I always like to think that one of Ash's hidden talent is that he's a very good singer.

Growing up in South Africa I never got to see the second theme song years later till I moved to the uk they had always opened with the first theme until joto.

I imagine they waited until this episode for the new opening because It's the first episode without Brock. It seems to be the case with lots of anime to wait until a certain point (yes I know it's mostly impacted by the cour changing) to change the opening so bigger plot points aren't spoiled while smaller ones are just previewed.

I know this is gonna sound weird but I think part of the reason I enjoy these videos so much is that you've got a great voice for this. Wish there was a way to get you into voice acting for cartoons ^_^ Also, I snorted into my coffee at that stinger, it was great!

Getting a bit ahead because of the Twitch Stream, but I want to get this off my chest before I forget. So there's a line 30-odd episodes from now where the Jhoto League is introduced. And it has to be introduced in the single stupidest way imaginable! Quote: "My Son Gary is on his way to Jhoto" "Jhoto? What's That" ....Ash, how do you NOT know about Jhoto? THAT'S LIKE LIVING IN FRANCE AND NOT KNOWING WHAT AN 'ITALY' IS!

I'm now mentally trying to rewrite Immigrant Song to have pokemon lyrics. Also, on the one hand I like that the patreons will be sorted alphabetically for OCD reasons, but like I said before, I've gotten so weirdly attached to the rhythmic cadence of the patreon list as it was, I'd always notice whenever someone stopped showing up where they used to.

I like to imagine that Lapras eggs work like they do in <a href="http://rarecandytreatment.smackjeeves.com/comics/1012869/miracle-of-life/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">this webcomic</a>. How else do we explain being able to carry around an egg that hatches into a 485 lbs/220 kg Pokémon?

Aww. I missed Brock's exit because I had to stop watching after a few minutes to go take care of a dog and by the time I got back around to it, it was blocked on Youtube. Definitely making sure to see all of this episode even though Tracy is mildly annoying.

I think this is hands down one of the funniest episodes you've done in a long time... All of them have their own touch of hilarity, but this one I just couldn't stop laughing at points. Great review. =3
