Trying to dig myself out of a 'real life' and decided to take a look at this one since it popped up on the stream. Fantastic work! It's really a great series of shows, and I'm so glad that you got the chance to review them. :) Not to mention that they're stellar episodes all over.

Back in Gen I, Persian was actually quite powerful. I don't think Scyther was any good back then, though.

Really minor nitpick: magnesium burns underwater. Although I guess that does qualify it for being really impressive from what I'm learning on google :o

You know a script is bad when watching animation from the show with new lines dubbed in over it makes you feel more attached to the characters than the original show ever did. I always felt that way about Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged too. It's a real shame about the actual show but at least this review episode about it was great!
