Barely Sociable was interviewed on Create Unknown and he was asked about it and he said one plausible theory is the pilot was upset because a political leader who he was allied with was put in jail that day and so perhaps he flew so far and then asked to speak to someone in the government about returning the passengers safely in exchange for the release of the leader. If the government refused his request he may have deliberately flown the aircraft until it ran out of fuel and plunged into the ocean. The only way to know for sure is to recover the black box (which is actually orange). If this scenario is true the Malaysian government would have no incentive to recover it. Hopefully someone (a curious billionaire?) might fund another search. If someone finds it they need to analyze it before turning over to the Malaysian government. There is also a link confirming a connection between the pilot and the political leader.
