@colleen same even with toy guns. I heard AB was not even in the scene. Why was he even practice shooting it. Always check the props no matter what , especially guns.

I know this is a late comment-I would hazard a guess that Alec wanted to look like Doc Holliday (played by Val Kilmer) in Tombstone. Documentaries have stated that one reason Doc Holliday used a cross draw for one of his guns gave him just enough extra time to be the “fastest draw in the west”.
