Normally, I post these on Fridays after they have a chance to air in Canada, but because the entire half hour is all about the Johnny and Amber trial, it feels more relevant to post it today and is much longer than the quick update I did with Jono and Ben just after the verdict was announced.

LEAH ADAMS

As a DV victim who has been through a jury trial, I just could not relate to Amber Heard. She came off as combative and so unlikable. When I was on the stand, I could barely even look at the jury because I was so ashamed and broken. I had zero self confidence. I know everyone is different, but the way she constantly turned to look and talk to the jury was odd....even just to answer a yes or no question. She was definitely not lacking in confidence. Also, I found it odd that she would antagonize JD in their relationship......filming him, following him from room to room, yelling back at him, etc. She didn't seem scared of him. I would have NEVER taken that chance w my Ex, because I knew I would be hurt for it. I walked on eggshells, careful not to set him off. Now, JD is an addict and I'm not saying he's an angel, and I can't say what he has or hasn't done, but she doesn't seem like the victims I know.

This podcast talks about the difference between UK libel trials and US libel trials and why Heard could win in the UK and lose in the States. It runs about 33m and is worth listening to. https://art19.com/shows/objections-with-adam-klasfeld/episodes/be5b0f7e-7ba1-4a97-9db0-2ff1f0a3c8e2
