Yes I liked it. Some seniors I'm friends with didn't like it because they thought it was going to be the whole life story and mostly show her being her clownish character. It's only one week when Lucy was exposed as a former Communist and was being investigated by Congress. Also that week, there was a big article about Desi cheating. She thought she was going to lose her show and husband. It has scenes recreate from the show, but it's more of her being frustrated making sure the episode that week is perfect. There are interviews with the real writers and producer. Their daughter approved the movie.

Had no idea Lucy had 'mob ties.' Another surprising one -- Rose Marie! But she began as a child star and they treated her as a foster daughter almost. Very protective of her. Her dad was involved with the mob in some way IIRC.
