On December 18, 1996, a woman was discovered in a cemetery lying on a long piece of plastic, with an 8 inch tall tabletop Christmas Tree beside her. The tree was decorated with gold bauble ornaments and red ribbon. There was a plastic bag secured over her head by masking tape that she had brought to the scene.

Once the bag was removed, the woman was found wearing headphones with a portable cassette player. A recording of comedians Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner doing their 2000 Year Old Man routine was in the player.
